How to Make a Listing Video for a Horse Property

A horse buyer looks at the barn, the arena, the fencing and the water before the house, so the video is organised that way: an aerial that shows the layout, a glide down the barn aisle, a pass along the fence line, a clip of the arena footing — then the house. The caption says how many stalls, how many fenced acres, and what equipment conveys.

The layout from the air

A drone top-down shows the barn, the arena, the paddocks and the house in one frame; an aerial pass along the fence line shows the extent. Both from a licensed pilot's stills.

The barn and the arena

A façade glide down the barn aisle with the stall doors open; a tilt up in the hay loft; a tracking walk across the arena to show the footing and the size. Plain lighting — condition is the information.

Water, storage, the house

One clip each of the water source, the hay and tack storage, and the trailer parking. The house gets a short normal walk-through; it is not why they are buying.

Questions

Should the horses be in the video?

Only if they convey, which they usually do not. Villenza does not remove animals from photos, so photograph the barn without them.

How do I show the arena size?

A tracking walk along one side with the dimensions in the caption. Buyers know what a 100-by-200 looks like when they see someone walk it.
