How to Make a Pan Right Real Estate Video

A pan shows layout. Sweeping right across the room lets a buyer see how it flows from one side to the other, from a single spot, the way they would look around on arrival.

What the pan right does

You stand still and swivel the camera to the right. Sweep right across the room, show layout and flow.

See the move

Sweeps right. Swivel to the right. Inside the app, every move also has a 3D preview of the rig and the exact photo map it asks for.

The direction and feel of pan right, drawn on one sample photo — not a rendered clip. Villenza builds the real clip from your own three photos, opening on the first and landing on the last.

Best rooms for a pan right

  • Kitchens that open to a dining area on the right
  • Living rooms where the view is to the right of the entrance
  • Wide great rooms you enter at one end
  • Any room you walk into and turn right

The 3 photos to take

Take them in one visit, in the same light. The first photo is where the clip opens and the last is where it lands, so shoot them in the order the camera should travel.

  1. 1

    Straight ahead

Facing forward, feet planted — this is the opening frame.

  2. 2

    Part way right

Same spot — turn about halfway to the right and shoot that.

  3. 3

    Full right

Same spot — turn as far right as the sweep should reach, and shoot that.

Tips for a better pan right

  • Plant your feet where the room opens to the right and shoot straight ahead first.
  • Turn about a third of the way for the second photo and finish where the room ends on the right — a window or a doorway, not a bare wall.
  • Keep the phone level; a pan that drifts upward as it turns reads as a wobble.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Shuffling sideways while turning — that is a truck, not a pan.
  • Turning past the room into a hallway the photos never showed.
  • A third photo aimed at an empty corner, so the sweep lands on nothing.

Not sure your photos will work? The AI Listing Planner reads a folder of photos, picks the move each room can support, and says what to re-shoot when a set won't work.

Questions

How many photos does a pan right need?

3 photos of the same room: first straight ahead, then part way right, last full right. Take them in one visit in the same light — the pan right opens on the first and lands on the last.

How far should a pan turn?

About a quarter of a turn is enough for most rooms. Turn far enough to reach the feature you want to end on, and no further — past that, the clip starts showing walls.

Is the pan right included on every Villenza plan?

Yes — the pan right, like every swivel move, is on every plan at the same 720p HD output; plans differ only in listings per month.
